This illustration was featured Conteu Magazines Viewpoint segment.

 

The theme was tiny spaces. The gave a few illustrators the challenge of seeing an ordinary object in a creative way. The given object was a box of matches.

 

The concept for my illustration comes from the origin of the PEZ dispenser. When the dispenser first came out it doubled up as an antismoking campaign, as the mechanism for the candy dispenser was based on the flint mechanism

of a lighter.
